Restaurants & Bars & Clubs

One of my favourites site in Lisbon - washing day

If you eat at any of these places you will have a very nice time! I am salivating as I write this.

Sardines are a must in Lisbon, as well as trying vihno verde - green wine, cured meat off the bone and cheese. So good.

Restaurants

Estrella de Bica - Portuguese tapas but Mexican style - great casual place with delicious food and nice atmosphere. See if you can see what the theme is.

La Cevicheria - high end ceviche with beautiful staff and amazing food. There is usually a waiting list even for lunch but you can have a drink outside. It's in a wealthy neighbourhood so worth a walk around there. If you walk around the corner you can get an amazing panoramic view of the city and can sit, drink and eat outside in the gorgeous weather.

Frei Contente - high quality, well presented and well cooked food with a more formal feel. In a cute neighbourhood.

Time Out Market - lots of food under one roof - worth a visit - it's a bit over priced though

By the wine - really cool looking bar/restaurant where you can get nice meat and cheese snacks or a nice vihno verde which is my top recco. It's quite posh in here I think.

Galato Davvero so many good flavours of ice-cream. The best in Lisbon I was told.  It's on the square where people drink at night at the weekend.

Bars

For busy action go to pink street or Barrio Alto. There will be loads of people in the street drinking so you can't really miss them.

Pensoa Amor
An old brothel that sells nice cocktails. It's popular with everyone so you might need to queue to get in. The toilets were pretty cool. Check it out: toilet

Clubs
Lux is the proper club
Ministerium had a good techno DJ on the night I went
Music Box - was cheesy at first but then the music got more house/techno.
